Carrie and Chris are no longer PNW residents, but they trekked back across the country to have their wedding in the Emerald City.
Artist point is Diana's "mountain crush" as she calls it. She has been there numerous times, and is absolutely in love with the place. It only seemed fitting to take their engagement photos there. The weather was perfect, no rain in sight for once.
This couple comes from a very devout religious Russian community. Most of the weddings within the community are held at the church, but they completely broke the mold and decided they wanted to get married outside. Despite the threat of rain, they decided to push through, and it created the most magical rainy day ceremony I have ever been a part of! There were 300 guests present yet everything felt incredibly intimate and deeply real and passionate
Nicolle and Patrick met, they came to Seattle, and got married on a tugboat, and none of it was planned from the beginning.
This Fiesta Inspired Backyard wedding had all of the perfect touches. The bride wanted to incorporate her heritage by including handmade details from her parents hometown in Mexico.
This shoot was inspired by the inevitable ability that a blanket of snow has to turn a landscape into a wonderland. Our team picked a private cabin buried in snow in the woods of the Bavarian inspired town of Leavenworth, Washington to set the scene.

I have known Russ and Lucia for a few years now, we met through mutual friends. I had the honor of taking their engagement photos as well as wedding photos. Throughout this process, we have become very good friends. They had a December wedding, and we quickly realized we weren't going to be able to get many portraits done. I didn't want to pressure them with squeezing in photos, so we made the decision to take portraits another day. I live in a tiny town at the base of Mt. Rainier, and I have always dreamed of getting a gorgeous couple out here to do bridal photos. I couldn't think of anyone better than Russ and Lucia. We worked together on choosing a day and making sure the weather would cooperate, as well as getting florals and details figured out. I already had all of the locations in mind, and I couldn't wait to get going on this shoot. Seeing as this would be our third shoot together, Russ and Lucia's comfort level was very high. This was such an important factor to getting the right photos. We had the time of our lives exploring Mt. Rainier together, filled with laughter, intimacy, and snow. It has been such a special experience to get to watch their relationship grow just over the past year, one of my favorite things about my job and what I get to do for a living.
