Styled Greenery goodness
Today we are so excited to share the styled green shoot by Kayleen Michelle at the Spokane Masonic Temple. Your breath will be taken away by the elegance!
The inspiration behind the shoot came from a photo of a redheaded model I saw a couple years ago. She had brilliant red hair and wore a beautiful floral crown. I instantly thought a green inspired, somewhat Irish themed shoot would be great and would produce great images to share throughout March, as green is the unofficial color of the month, is it not?! But wait! THE official 2017 Pantone Color of the Year is actually “Greenery," so it was even more fitting to feature these unique hues, an upscale whiskey bar and such a stunning and historic venue. I think the Northwest often falls into a cliché of "nature loving folk" with photos by rivers and lakes, on top of mountains and in trees; but being based in Spokane, Washington (and previously in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho), I can tell you we are so much more than that!
The venue I chose for this styled shoot is one of the city’s largest and oldest meeting places. The building was built in 1903 and it’s century old neoclassical architecture was once considered one of the grandest fraternal lodges in the west! Formerly the grand Spokane Masonic Temple is now known as Riverside Place and it is perfect for the bride who is looking for a grand city affair with classic elegance! With over 5 rooms to hold your event, you can host an intimate wedding for 30, or a much larger ceremony suited for 400 guests. Every room, from the marble hallways, to the grand ballroom, even to the exterior design, boasts stunning beauty as you will see in the photos.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this dream into a reality!
